The way God explained this to me the other morning  those who excepts Me, I died for.

John 3:16

The Jews understood that the Messiah would come to condemn the Gentiles [Amos 5:18-20]

The gospel in a nutshell. The love of God shown in action.

"For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosover believeth in Him should not perish, but have ever-lasting life". [1] The source of love- God. [2] the extent of love---the world. [3] The sacrifice of love--- He gave His only begotten Son. [4]  The result of love---whosoever believeth in Him should not perish.

The doom of those that would not so much as know Him. And this the condemnation, that light is come into the world, and they loved darkness. It is the unspeakable folly of the most of men that they loved darkness rather than this light.

Sinners that were wedded to their lusts loved their ignorance and mistakes rather than truths of Christ.

Christ is hated because sin is loved!

Wretched man is in love with his sickness, in love with his slavery, and will not be made free, will not be made whole. They are in love with Satan, not God [because their deeds are evil}. Their case is sad, and because they are resolved that they will not mend it, so, they are resolved to ignore it [they will not see it].

He came into the world with salvation in His eye, with salvation in His hand....

God sent His Son into the world, sent Him as His agent or ambassador, as resident.

We are concerned to enquire on what arrand He comes: Is it peace? And this Scripture returns the answer,

He came that the world [Jew or Gentile] might be saved....This is good news to a

convinced conscience. This denotes more than a reprieve; he is not condemned, that is, he is acquitted [not guilty]. If he is not condemned he is discharged. [Peace with God]

The deplorable condition of those that persist in unbelief and wilful ignorance.

The Doom:

of those that will not believe in Christ.

How great the misery of unbelievers is...They are condemned already.
